We're ready to assist with your resistance welding electrode requirements. Quotes within 24-48 hours.

To give you the best solution, we need to understand your process

We don't just sell electrodes. We diagnose your application to recommend the right solution, even if that means you don't buy anything from us.

What we ask before quoting

  • What are you welding? Material, thickness, coating (galvanized, etc.)
  • What welder do you have? kVA, control type (AC, MFDC, capacitive)
  • What electrodes are you currently using? Material, RWMA class, geometry
  • What's the problem? Fast wear, sticking, spatter, inconsistency
  • What cooling do you have? Water temperature, flow rate, recirculator or tower

Sometimes the problem is NOT the electrode

Real cases where the solution wasn't buying material. We give you recommendations to solve it and look forward to working with you when you do need electrodes:

Customer wanted electrodes for aluminum

Their welder didn't have proper control. Aluminum has an oxide layer (alumina) that requires very high current very fast. We recommended investing in MFDC control first. When they have it, we'll work together on the electrodes.

Electrodes wearing out "too fast"

The electrode was hot after welding, and they changed it every half shift. It was a cooling problem: water too hot. They adjusted temperature and the same electrode lasted 3x longer. They're now regular customers.

Galvanized with spatter

The welder didn't have upslope (ascending current). We recommended control maintenance, not electrode change. The problem was solved without them buying anything that day.

When IS it the electrode?

First we see if you can adjust what you have. If not, we recommend the right change:

1
Electrode cool but wears fast

If after welding the electrode isn't hot but you still change it frequently → may be wrong material for your application

2
Using 80%+ capacity and poor welds

If your welder works near maximum and you still can't get consistent welds → need electrode with higher conductivity

3
Special application (hot stamping, aluminum)

High-strength steels or aluminum require specific materials like CuW or Class 3 with proper equipment
